Einride, a Swedish autonomous trucking startup, has partnered with DP World to establish the world’s largest autonomous trucking network at Jebel Ali Port in Dubai.
This collaboration, part of the “Falcon Rise” project, will see the deployment of around 2,000 electric trucks, including 200 fully autonomous ones.
The network aims to facilitate 1,600 daily container movements, significantly enhancing logistics efficiency while reducing carbon emissions by approximately 14,600 metric tons annually.
The first autonomous trucks are expected to begin operations in 2025, with the full project to be completed within five years.
This initiative marks a major step towards sustainable and innovative freight transportation in the Middle East.
