On February 17, 2025, Delta Air Lines Flight 4819 crash-landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport, flipping upside down and catching fire upon landing.

The Bombardier CRJ-900LR, arriving from Minneapolis, carried 80 passengers and crew, all of whom survived.

However, 21 people were injured, with two hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities, including the Transportation Safety Board of Canada and the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board, are investigating the cause of the crash.

Initial reports indicate that runway conditions were dry, and weather was not a factor.
