Former President Donald Trump was the target of an assassination attempt at his golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The suspect, Ryan Wesley Routh, was spotted with an SKS-style rifle near the property line.
Secret Service agents engaged Routh, who fled but was later captured.
The rifle, along with backpacks containing ceramic tiles and a GoPro camera, were recovered at the scene.
Trump remained unharmed, and authorities have increased security for his future outings. Routh is currently in custody, facing federal charges.
