In Uganda’s Bulambuli District, heavy rains caused devastating landslides, killing at least 17 people and leaving over 100 missing.

Entire villages were buried, and rescue efforts are ongoing, but mud-covered roads and continuous rain hamper progress.

The government has urged residents in high-risk areas to relocate for safety.

This disaster highlights the increasing threat of climate change and the need for preventive measures.
