Two American astronauts, Barry “Butch” Wilmore and Sunita Williams, are currently stranded in space after a test mission to the International Space Station (ISS) on June 5 faced unexpected complications.

Initially expected to last only a few days, the mission has now stretched to nearly two months due to issues with the Boeing Starliner spacecraft, including propulsion system leaks.

This delay raises concerns that the astronauts may miss the entire summer and could potentially spend both Christmas and New Year in space.
